It seems counterintuitive, but taking a break isn’t just procrastination—instead, it improves creativity and focus. With this in mind, Red Bull approached Brokaw to revitalize their Red Bull Refresh program, which offers light snacks and mixed energy drinks during conferences at select hotels across the country. Red Bull wanted to transform Refresh into Energy Breaks, 15- to 30-minute themed experiences complete with snacks, drinks, decor, and physical activities. My partner and I pitched two concepts for the program—Recess and Disrupt—that speak to different aspects of the Red Bull brand and take Energy Breaks to the next level.
