Smith’s Sealed | Packaging Design

hand crafted to premium perfection.

In 2021, Smith’s Dairy expanded their renowned ice cream portfolio with a line of hand-crafted premium pints, tasking Brokaw with developing its name and packaging design. Including decadent SKUs like German Chocolate Cake and White Chocolate Raspberry, this new product line deserved an identity that felt equally as luxurious.

The name, Smith’s Sealed, takes inspiration from the iconic Smith's "Locally Made" seal found on their other dairy products. Additionally, it adds an artisan, small-batch feel and trades in on the trust customers have in the Smith's brand.

The Sealed name is brought to life on the packaging through a red ribbon element. The clean, white layout gives prominence to the rich ice cream photography and to the Sealed wordmark (printed in metallic gold ink for extra luxe).
